Not so much the view from my window as the view from the window of our current accommodation on our two month trip to Australia.

This Kookaburra visits the veranda most mealtimes hoping for a few scraps of left over meat. It's amazing how close you can get to these phenomenal birds -- which I believe are the largest members of the kingfisher family.
