Natchitoches Parish - Cloutierville - Bayou Folk Museum

The house was built in the late 1800's by Alex Cloutier. Kate Chopin, writer of many Creole books once lived here.

The building was listed n the National Register of Historic Places.
In 2008 fire destroyed the building.
