Arlington was built in the 1830's. The house sits between Bayou Teche and the Old Spanish Trail, both major trade arteries back then. The home served as a field hospital during the Civil War for both Confederate and Federal troops.
Arlington is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now serves as a beautiful setting for events as well as a bed and breakfast.
