Collin County - Copeville rural - Lavon Lake Great Blue Heron

While exploring regions around Lavon Lake, I came across this Great Blue Heron (I stand to be corrected on that identification) He cautiously watched me very slowly approach until I came to almost 50 feet from him before he flew away.

Almost reminiscent of south Louisiana
