On our way to Otavalo our bus stops at Calderon to give us an "opporutnity" to visit a local craft store. I presume everyone from the guide to the bus driver will get something for bringing 20 tourists to the town. The visit, however, is an interesting one, with several interesting and colorful opportunities to take pictures, as well as spend money.
