In the morning we headed from our hotel at St. Brides to the Gannet's Nest restaurant for breakfast. Back in the bus we headed out across the barrens and saw one caribou off in the distance. At Trepassey we lunched at the Trepassey Motel and then on to Bay Bulls where we went out to Bird Island (known formally as Green Island in the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve) on an O'Brien boat, and then back to O'Brien's restaurant for dinner before a return trip to St. John's.
