Red Kite adult is resident in Spain.
Only the northernmost birds migrate southwards after the breeding season.
This raptor frequents several types of habitats such as forests, cultivated and wet areas.
It is easy to identify, thanks to the conspicuous white patches of the underwings.

The following scene occured in the plains.
A Red Kite with red and yellow marks on the wings was chased by another kite.
You can see the quarrel between them in the air.
Then, the marked kite flew away and I saw the marks very well.
From a Spanish information, this kite would come from France. But I do not find more details.
The quality is very bad, but the light was low and it was raining... In addition, the raptors were far from us.
But the scene was interesting in spite of the bad conditions.
