And to conclude this general survey from some Canarian species, I will quote the Eurasian Kestrel canariensis (Falco tinnunculus canariensis), omnipresent in all parts of the island, but less in altitude, although having already been observed up to 2,000 metres of elevation! It is fairly similar to ours, perhaps with more contrasted plumage, but considered as endemic subspecies in each island of Canaries.
