Meadow Brown is widespread in its range.
It lives in all kinds of habitats, from gardens, urban parks and cemeteries,
to open grasslands, coastal dunes, hedgerows or under cliffs,
from sea level up to 1.800 metres.
It can be found throughout Europe.
