Southern Amanda’s Blue is a mountain butterfly, but northern populations live at lower levels.
This species lives in meadows and edges, until 1500 metres of elevation.
It can be found in southern and central Europe, North Africa, Russia and Iran.
It shows a wingspan of 35 to 40 mm, and feeds on plants from Fabaceae family.
