The other French name is Marbré de Cramer.
Western Dappled White has white upperparts with black spots on wing tips, and green pattern on underparts, giving them a good camouflage. It has a wingspan of 40 to 48 mm.
This species lives mainly in open areas. It is found in Africa, Spain, France, Italy and Egypt.
Western Dappled white feeds on nectar on a variety of flowers. It spends most of its time flying.
