The Booted Eagle is a small raptor, with only 42 to 51 cm length. It is a summer visitor in this place, but some of them can winter in southern Spain. It feeds on small mammals, reptiles and birds caught on the ground. This species nests in trees, or sometimes on rocky ledges, but rarely.
This one is a pale morph, but we can find a less common dark morph too.
