Salt on a road leading into Mesquite Flat dunes.

How can anyone see an old dirt road heading off into the sunset and not be intrigued?
Sure, it takes me off my original course.
Sure, the sun is getting low and I'm alone in the desert.
What I do have is a camera, bottle of water, good shoes, and a full moon rising.
Here I go!
