I am walking with a slight limp!

Today I thought I would be brave and take my inline skates to visit a friend. Have been practising a few months, and thought I am OK. I can stop and stay in a straight line etc. I forgot that I live ON TOP of Headington HILL, and my friend at the BOTTOM of Headington HILL!

I was catching speed, and I knew this was a bad idea. Could really smell the rubber from my brake pad! However, I made it to the bottom safely. 200m further on (on level ground!), I had to cross a driveway, and on the other side my skates decided they had enough and threw me off! Landed on my side and hip. Nothing serious, but a little bruised. Eventually made it safely to the friend`s house.

Will be sure to practise a little more though!
