6 December - TITC: Control

I need to release the control that PADding has over me... I've posted too many rubbishy snaps recently!
Brings up the age old debate - do you bother posting any old snap every day, or do you only post when you have something decent to download?!
And when I looked around me today I realised how much of our lives are controlled by external influences!
So do you drift along with your life & take what fate throws at you or do you go out
there and MAKE your own destiny happen? Hmm... I think I drank too much wine last night! ;O)

Other "controlling" people ;o) are in the forum here

excellent!!!

A woman at the wheel of a car. Is that really a definition of control ;->
An no, I'm not that sexist!!!
Carole Stevens07-Dec-2007 11:41
Lol@John, your piks are definitely not rubbishy, we'l have this deep discussion over drinks Saturday lol!
Dave Hein07-Dec-2007 04:09
That's exactly why mine is titled 'Photo Today' (and not 'a Day')! It's much less stress.

I stopped PaDDing at almost 2 years and felt free immediately. Now I post every day without feeling as though I have to .
Hope you keep both hands on your life :-)

Snap away! I think your shots are ALWAYS something more than though. V

You can only do what you feel is right at the time - so just go for it....whatever it may be!!!!

Peso ~ Occasional ~ what ever you call it, was what I enjoyed the most after a year of PAD. As John said a lot can be gained from the discipline of PAD.
Oh & another thing...conrol is when you ha BOTH hands on the wheel ;>)

They say "In Vino Veritas",Nicky but I disagree about rubbishy snaps!! If the pressure is getting to you,why not go to PESO so that we can still enjoy your work but puts the control back in your hands!!:>)
Lee Rudd06-Dec-2007 21:28
very deep and meaningful! just go for it!
Gail Davison06-Dec-2007 19:52
I agree with John - do what you enjoy!!!
Chris06-Dec-2007 19:43
Deeply philosophical question - need to think it over with a little drop of of what you had last night! Agree with John, sometimes the need to post overcomes all alse. Why is the rev counter at 1500rpm when you are stationary at lights?? Chris :0
PS I like the shot!

Good question, Nicky.
Well done entry.

Sometimes that "drifting along" brings us to a point of discovery. Life, PaDding, photography often reveal things unseen and unknown when least expected while we faithfully move along in our journey.

Nice entry. Be careful out their :-)

who put those traffic lights up the wrong way round! ;-)

Very thought provoking Nicky... (((hugs))) thanks for posting... I'm with ya sistah!
Guest 06-Dec-2007 18:31
PAD causes one to pick up the camera at least once in a day.
That's a good thing!
Faye White06-Dec-2007 18:25
well done entry!
you should do what feels right for you.... if it's not fun, step back for a breather
JW06-Dec-2007 18:12
I really gained from the discipline of posting a picture a day, but in the end the posting became more important than the quality of the picture, and at that stage I went PESO!

Do whatever YOU feel best doing, not what you thing you should!

I like the story behind this shot. I try to post a photo which is the best I can achieve but often other commitments force me to take a shot around the home.
