15 January - big day today!

My daughter started full time in infant school today!
She had a "special mention" in assembly this morning,
and got a certificate for "coming to school with a smile"!
And she sat there smiling the whole time! Now I know every mum will
think their daughter is cute, but she really was so gorgeous sitting
there grinning at everyone! Even the headmaster's face softened
(and he's got a very strict face!!)
So then I had a whole 6 hours to myself!
But goodness me, did the time fly by and I was still racing
out of the door at 3.10pm! So here's a shot of the cat! :o)

A special day indeed, I remember the feeling too of going home after dropping mine off at school for the first time. So what DID you do with yourself for six hours then Nicky? ;) It is a lovely photo of the cat.
