5 January - teasels

Had a lovely hour this morning with my Pbase pal Rose.
We went to a wildlife reserve near Sevenoaks and met up with another lady, Fran,
whom Rose had been in contact with via the Wild About Kent website
http://www.wildaboutkent.com/), which we've both registered with. From the small bit that I saw I can imagine that Rose
and I will be paying many visits there at different times of the year -
and now I REALLY need a long zoom lens to catch all the little birdies!

Have had problems processing my RAW images now I've (ahem) got the 400D -
RawShooter doesn't support them any more - nightmare!
So have had to use Canon's Zoombrowser XE which just doesn't give the
same control over processing the images. Something I need to look into!

No more from me until Sunday night - it's the "blue dress" night out tomorrow!

Nice shot Nicky, lucky you, not having frost on your teasels! Do you have Photoshop? I use that to process my RAW images. Have a great time in the posh blue dress!

Teasels are cool and this is very well done. Like the 'twin' composition! Don't expect you'll be talking about RAW workflow and long lenses at your night out!
