Had an adventurous drive into town this morning - we skidded
on deep ice ruts on the road, then watched the snow drift
across the lane in front of us, then someone had had an accident
so we had to come off the (slushy) main road back onto the real
back lanes... then on the way home via the exciting back lanes
we lost sight of the road under the snow several times! Well,
the kids enjoyed themselves :o) A proper winter this is, just
like the ones I remember when I was young! ;O)
