a lovely, nice, tidy workplace!

Its nice to see you again :)
Letting go of the things that you pour your heart into
are never easy and putting a price on them is even more difficult.
The mood and the light are very fitting here Roe.

We see you more clearly than your work because of your use of lighting - it's as it should be. You are the artist, Roe, and your work an expression of yourself.

Marvelous work. Letting go of a painting must be a lot harder than letting go of a print...

Nicky, I'm sitting here with a glass of wine watching you work and reading another of Rod's amazing poems! For the money, pbase is superb entertainment. Good positioning of the camera by the way, to give you a 'kicker' and 'hair light'!!!

I love that you frame your own work. Is it difficult to do. This morning I was trying to fit one of my pictures into a pre bought matted frame. Sucks! The opening is not the correct size to fit the picture. If I crop the picture, it ruins it. And, I only wanted to hang it here at home for awhile so don't want to pay for professional matting. Sigh!

I love this scene... like to me the lighting, the intimate mood...
I love to think next to the thoughts that I do not know, the person who is in this scene, in this angle of room, on this bed... I loves to think, loves to dip itself in the feelings and to feel them

You are framed by the light too, and you use it with subtlety.

This is so good to see. You look totally at peace with yourself and your artworks. Love the side lighting from your window. But I would, wouldn't I ?

Hard at work I see.

Soon,
The Spring light would peel away
The curls of winter shadows,
Warming the sap of promise
To flow freely,
Beneath pondering skin.
Lilith22-Jan-2008 14:00
Love the tone, as well as the expression on the face.
It makes one think.
