Most of my recent planetary images have been taken using monochrome cameras such as
the Atik-1HS II and Lumenera Infinity 2-1M.
The individual red, green and blue filtered images that were combined in Photoshop
to produce the colour image for 10th February 2006 are shown above.
On the right a single, unprocessed, frame from the red-filtered AVI is shown.
The high noise levels are ironed-out by stacking the best frames using Registax software.
