Very pretty, and I had an inkling that we might be in trouble, but the weather forecasters said we'd be on the edge of the ice. I didn't think it would be a problem but lit the wood stove. The next morning the power was out and the water was rising fast. By the time I got the generator started, we had about an inch of water in the basement. Good news is that the pump worked in about 15 minutes and except for the carpet we only lost stuff that needed to go anyway.
