Due to the fall of South Vietnam,
I've suddenly labeled with many tittles by the winning government:

- enemy of People's Army Forces
- enemy of Democratic Republic of Vietnam
- enemy of Communist Party of Vietnam
- enemy of the Vietnamese people

Under such situation, I wasn't sure if I could survive.
5 years after the fall, we had him added to the family.
Still, and again, I was afraid I would not be alive the day he can make up his mind.
For that, I embedded more than one message
in his name
with the hope that when he grows up
even if his father has died
he would be able to decode the meanings

So his name is DUONG

- In Chinese and in Japanese, THAI DUONG should be read as THAI YANG (the sun).
The message for him is always looking toward the direction of the sunrise for his life.


- DUONG also means TAI YANG, the ocean: he should cross the Pacific Ocean by boat,
to resettle his life.

- DUONG is also the GOAT, because he was born on the 27th Day of the 11th Month, Year of The Goat, according to lunar calendar.
