From Nairobi we flight to Kigali ,take the local bus to Mosanze and then a taxi to a small town Kinigi.The reason for our visiting to Rwanda is seeing the Gorilla in Volcan National Park.It located on the north-west of Rwanda,joint the border on the north with Virunga NP of Republic of Congo and Mgahinga NP of Uganda. These three national parks shared together the Virunga Mountain with five volcanos (Karisimbi,Bisoke,Mahubura,Gahinga & Sabyinyo).The world knew this places through the study of mountain gorilla by Dian Fossey.
Genocide was something in the past,nobody here wants to talk about it.Rwandans are very friendly and I wonder why a genocide could happen to a beautiful place like Rwanda.Today Rwanda is a saftest country in Africa for visiting.
There are eight groups of mountain gorillas managed by Rwanda,spreaded over the southern part of Virunga mountains.Among all these groups,Susan group was the most difficult for tracking,they habitated on the slope of Karisimbi & Bisoke volcanos,sometime took four hours to track out this group .We select the second difficult group. Amahoro group,this group included 17 members.Amahoro means freindly & easy to approach.This group habitated on the slope of Bisoke volcano at the elevation 2600 m
