In the year of 1982 I've decided to quit my engineering job with Fluor corporation and open my own autoparts store. I had Bulgarian friends in the autoparts business and decided to join. On the outside of the store front, right on the walk way, I had five machines next to each other, with all kinds of ice cold soft drinks for sale. The weather in Houston is very hot and the soft drinks were selling very well. From these machines I pulled enough coins for the store's every day needs as well as mine.
In the year of 1991 I've decided that this type of work is not for me. I've sold the store and returned back to engineering with Fluor corporation. It was a nice experience but not worth the time and money invested.
