The fifth day we took a buss to go see fort Rinella. We could see how the island was defended during the second WW and earlier. On display was one hundred ton gun as well as the whole fort, the weapons used at the time, the facilities, the kitchen which is still in operation and we were introduced to the soldiers way of life back then.
