FINALLY, I see one of these beautiful birds. After a tip I received, I went to Stone Harbor and found this owl. He was extremely content and looked like a lazy cat sitting there. Occasionally he would preen his feathers and I even saw him cough up a pellet! I watched this bird for a couple of hours until finally as the sun was getting lower, he became more active and flew away. Even then I watched him for a while as he landed on a fence and a sign. One of the most beautiful birds there is.
