Ammannia coccinea- Scarlet Toothcup

This plant was last recorded in NJ between 1866-1870 at a Camden ballast dump. There is a good sized stand of this in Mercer County, probably also arrived as ballast. This North American native plant grows to the south and west of NJ, but is not believed to exist here naturally.
