IVORY GULL!!!

A beautiful bird from north of the Arctic Circle. They are usually found along pack ice and scavenge after polar bears. I have NO idea what this one was doing in Cape May! I hope it makes it back home. This is a juvenile. The adults are completely white other than bill, eye and legs. Possibly the rarest bird I've seen. As a gull fan, this was a monumental event. The bird put on a hell of a show and didn't mind the presence of people in the least. How many people has this bird even seen?
