(Liriodendron tulipifera) and American Beech (Fagus grandifolia). Two of the most impressive of our eastern native trees. Tulip Poplar can get to be nearly 200 feet tall with trunks over 10' in diameter. American Beech can grow to around 100' tall. Both have golden yellow fall foliage.
