This game was played under sunny skies at Henson Park and saw the introduction of a local Beer and Food Day, this resulted in a lift in attendance and introduced a lot of people to their first experience of a football game,as can be seen from the images the crowd was keen to get on the field at half-time and at the end of the day. The day was a great success and Newtown ran out victors by 12-10 in a hard fought game.
