Dillsboro is 11 miles north of Franklin and a don't miss stop if your headed from Highlands/Franklin to the Smokey Mountains National Park area. The Smokey Mountains Railroad stops here several times a day. You will not want to miss the local shops and eateries, especilally the Chocolate Factory.
