He did it!!

Bib number 1519 came through the finish line in position 1014 in an amazing time of 06h 11m 36s

Age group position was 33rd out of 75 in the male age 50-54 group. Wow! in the top half in his first Ironman competition.

Position after the 1.2 mile swim was 23rd in age group and 1091 overall in a time of 42m 55s

The 56 mile bike took 2h 57m 02s age group position was 38th, 1095 overall

And finally the 13.1 mile run took 2:22:28 resulting in 33rd in age group
and a finish position of 1014 overall out of a field of 1774 competitors.

I wonder what we will be doing on 21st May 2006?
