Miss Melissa had a semi-formal at school and was worried about going to it since she didn't have a date. Well, once a year my girls get one really big surprise or present if you will so Terry and I decided that this would be the one for this year. So she was treated to a very special day that counts as her birthday, middle school graduation present. She was thrilled to say the least. This is how I summerized the day:

Formal Dress: $10 (thank you Salvation Army)
Cleaning Dress: $10

Jewelry: $35
Dance Ticket: $6
Waxing: $14
Hair Dresser: $25
Pedicure: $25
Full Set Nails: $25
Corsage: $10
Dinner afterwards: $28

I have been waiting years for her to feel that way about herself and even the next day she continued to feel beautiful.

She had a wonderful time at the dance and we went to dinner (just the two of us, Terry had to work the next morning) and while at dinner at Applebee's she got hit on by one of the waiters! It totally made her night! The guy stopped as soon as he found out how old she really was, LOL but the fact that a man would make a move on her in front of her MOM! WOW! Talk about confidence booster! :)
