Even if you are not a vegetarian, some Cambodian meals might make you one. Especially in villages of the Kreung minority the stew with a rat`s head and the mixture of indefinable parts of different animals made us tell the people that unluckily we could not taste their delicacies, because we were vegetarians. Something we did not try either were the ducks` eggs with embryos inside that you can buy in every market.
Something else we had to get used to is the traffic on Cambodian roads. All kinds of vehicles are normally overloaded. Astonishingly, we nevertheless did not see any accident.
Pig`s head and tail, symbolizing a whole pig, are offered to the spirits.
