We arrived at Ching Jing in one rainy afternoon. Ching Jing (清境) farm in Nantou (南投) County is located on the mountain slope over 3000 meters above sea level at central Taiwan. The temperature is a cooling 15 celcius. Unfortunately, it was rainy season when we arrived, and in the first day the rain just never stopped!! As such, we had to spend most of the time inside cafe or shops. We woke up early the next day to a sunny morning, and we immediately rushed to the grassland area to breath in the cool refreshing air and enjoy the open mountainous view. It drizzled again in the late morning and for the rest of the day, but we managed to snap some shots in between the episodes of rain. The only pity was - we could not lay down or roll over the inviting grass field - too wet! Oh, we did not see any sheep too because they were isolated for fear of contracting goat pox. On day 3 early in the morning, we took a taxi that drove us across Hehuan mountain to Hualian. The sceneries along the way is magnificent!
