Noboribetsu is a unique place to me. The steaming geothermal areas and the suffocating sulfur smell really make this place feel like HELL! It was also a pleasant surprise that we managed to catch the "ghost" firework performance in the night - and it was the last performance of the season. Strolling along the street and window shopping at night was truly a relaxing experience. We even gulped down a bown of spicy-like-hell ramen at 11PM ;)
Welcome to Noboribetsu!
