After owning the NA MX5, it is real difficult to encourage myself to buy a NB MX5. NB MX5 lacks the Retro appearance of NA MX5. No more pop up headlights. No more Lotus Elan looking lines. No more classic dashboard. Seems that NB is lacking attraction to NA owners. And at the same time encounter difficulties to attract other roadster buyers as Mercedes SLK, BMW Z3 and Porsche Boxster were already in the market.

Performance wiss, NB is truely an excellent improved model from NA. If you have driven both models, you can feel the hardship of Mazda Designers to improve the ride quality of NB without scarifice the one and only driving pleasure given by MX5. Everything is more civilized in NB.
