Although a popular car in Japan and the USA, it is a very rare car in Hong Kong. I guess there are less than ten of them now.

It is actually the second Fairlady covertible after the SR311 (late 60s). Due to the popular demand of Z32 Fairlady in 1989 and 1990, project of convertible version started without prior production planning. Change of some sheet metals, panels and parts based on Short Wheel Base Z32 results in this Convertible Version. The soft top is folded and unfolded manually. And all convertibles are equipped with 3.0 V6 NA engine only.

A very comfortable cruiser. The manual operated top is not convenient. It takes quite a lot of procedures and time to raise and lower the top. But it saves any future mechanical trouble (which I like most). The Chassis Structure is not good. I think it is the result of lack of Convertible planning during the Chassis design process. Power is good and it is a leisure car to drive. Many thanks to Chi Wai in getting me this car. Without his help, I will have no chance to get this rare vehicle.
