The Great Sand Dunes National Park sits at the north east corner of the San Luis Valley, near Alamosa. It is a real treat to be able to see it and to photograph it finally! The wind was blowing hard with sand blasting on my body and of course my camera. Most of pictures in this gallery were taken with the 5D + 24-105 f/4 IS lens alone. The 5D passed the sand blast test with flying colors!
