Tornado-1991 Wichita

I took this from my garage after being chased by the tornado. Based on the exact time it was taken and later reported,I believe the debris in the photo was when a Jeep Cherokee was thrown through the second story of a new, unoccupied Boeing office.

Beautiful in a stark and frightening way. The composition is powerful, conveying a breathless tension and uncertainty along with a kind of calm. Almost surreal in effect.
