Whole stories could be made up about why these two trees differ with their tastes of whether to dress up or stand naked!

Interesting..perhaps the bark of an older tree may lend itself more to moss growth
Or maybe the tree on the left has some blight that encourages growth..
But the tree on the right might have a bark that's worse than it's blight 8-)
