Recently this month, in this general area, a 12 year old boy was engulphed by a somewhat rare "super wave" that carried him to his death.

That's a very sad story. A beautiful coastline but there can always be danger by the ocean.

That is so sad. We also see headlines like that here occasionally. The Tsunami warning signs are a permanent fixture.

I recognize those sea stacks at La Push. The beach only opened again last week since before the pandemic. I must go visit, and hopefully not have to heed that sign. I like the bird...
