Orphan Train Museum, Concordia, Kansas

During 1854-1928 there was a supervised program who would take orphaned, abandoned, and homeless children and foster them to people in the Midwest farm states.

Well done in b/w. I'm not familiar with the story, but can imagine the further one goes back in time, the more perilous being an orphan was likely to be.
