Cattle Car And Pictures Of Some The Dead

I hadn't known that St. Petersburg had a Holocaust Museum. I arrived an hour before it closed for the day. I shall return.

A fine perspective on this exhibit....the train car, and those unfortunate enough to have been forced to travel on these.

Back to one of the darkest pages of humanity. I cannot see reminders of this absolute drama without feeling shivers. V.

Can you imagine how many walls all of the holocausst dead would cover ? If it doesn't sicken a person, they have no heart

story that deserves honourable mention.

Did not know there is a Holocaust Museum there. Would like to see that. There were quite a few families in my home town that had a lot of history surviving WWII and the Holocaust. Each had a unique story relatable to the larger story. The thing I remember the most is first time I saw a tattooed number on a woman's forearm and knew what it was. It made all the stories real. Great shot Neil. Please! Do go back! V

Nice work photographing this scene the cattle car and the photos on the wall both involved in the sad event of the Holocaust history.
The numbers that perished was very sad.
Excellent composition .

Right is right and proper that we remember what can happen when mob-rule prevails. V
