Weathered In A Humid Place

Since I don't drive anymore and my family is busy during the day I walk around the neighborhood. This area is labeled "Historic Kenwood". "Historic" doesn't necessarily mean upscale. The general run of houses were built in the late 1920's Some were in excellent condition and others, not so. Trees grow large along streets adding shade and interest.
As in Kansas the run down attract me. Here they are generally built in back yards for rent and adjoin an alley.

Nice fence line giving the green growth a nice setting.
Looks like a little bamboo growing behind the fence.
Nice filling of the frame and resolution is very nice.
Humidity is something we get a great deal of in Delaware.

This photo is a proof that it's not necessary to overdo to produce excellent results, but details can be very good and meaningful subjects

Nice work with the lines of the fence which contrast well with the lines of the palms.

I think you'll find lots of things to see in the Kenwood neighborhood, no need for a car

You sure have a good eye for the run down. It’s a lovely photo. Needs some love this place I guess. V

You've always had a keen eye for the weathered and run down scenes and I really enjoy that about your work. Looking forward to more of these coming from your walkabouts.

Love the contrast between the old, rundown fence and the new very green palm leaves growing behind it! Yes, it does look pretty humid there.
