Snow Covered, Canvas Mounds of Grain, Galva, Kansas

It was bitter cold and windy. I stood in front of the car, took the picture and it was enough for me.

The tones, values and textures are magnificent in this excellent capture. A very strong composition with the leading lines, perspective and layers. I get a sense of quiet, solitude and cold yet the image conveys an intriguing mood with a desire to explore where the road leads. VVV

Strong and expressive composition. Your back story really helps brings home the moment. I can feel the cold.

The starkness of this scene makes it very powerful.
You really nailed this place down here.

It does look bitter cold... never good to see this much grain in temporary storage like this, I see it's 2018, so not being exported..

I have never seen this amount of grain stored this way. It does look cold and bleak. Very well composed and photographed.
