The Rock of Gibraltar

Years ago the Prudential insurance Company* used the Rock of Gibraltar as a logo. They made it more damatic than this.

My father had a life insurance policy with the "Pru" as it is affectionately know as in England. It was a life time policy with a fixed premium and fix pay-out. It cost him about $2.00 per month. He paid premiums from the time he left the army after WW2 until his death. When he died we collected $750. We calculated it cost him $2,880 over his life. I have no idea why he would have kept this policy. V
