Corkscrew Mountain View

On a Saturday when no group to lead was there the owner asked me to go with him to find a new trail. It involved high altitude and a long stretch walking along the sharp ridge of a mountain.. It was an exciting few hours. The owner decided it was too tricky for this group of older hikers. I was relieved. Doing it once was enough.

Neil:

I have just finished reading "More Than A Rock" by Guy Tal. He writes a lot about being in the desert. So I am thinking, maybe I should give that a try? It would be a nice change from my usual hiking in the mountains. My 2020 is already planned out so it will have to be 2021.

Love your photo and the wide open feel it has. V
