Judging by the condition of two hoops possibly for two children of different ages, the family left a long time ago.

Can picture this as a compromise and/or solution. Maybe set up for as something for the little kids to do when the big kids are at school. Mom and Dad could go about their business. Whatever the reason just imagine the conversation when all the kids (of all ages) were out there! Hope it was good most of the time.! Great spot and the story it tells! BV

What a great find and shot and I like the story it tells. From the height of the two hoops it looks like they had kids of different ages that used to enjoy playing ball against the barn. Neat piece of family history captured here- not just a subject.
