We had a great Co-Op here! Spent a lot of time and money there. Membership had it's advantages! Then they went all boutique and became more concerned with selling birdhouses, flower pots and flowery cowgirl shirts. They stopped selling anything one would actually need so they created an opening for other, better “feed, seed, and supply” stores to come in.
Funny sign! COOP? or CO-OP? Great catch with the man heading in and the farm trucks.

I did not know there was an Atlanta in Kansas. My first employer out of University was the Coop Fire and Casualty Company. So I have a soft spot for Co-Operatives. V
